In charge of Pot&Pan and our rather lovely rooftop bar, Chef André Coutinho is a gastronomic superstar whose commitment and curiosity to the culinary arts allowed him to grow quickly, joining the Bomporto family as head chef at just 33.

After working his way up Michelin kitchens and serving as sous-chef in an exciting array of exclusive restaurants, he started heading up his first team in 2014, leading the brigade in luxury hotels’ kitchen for the last 3 years.
His focus on traditional Portuguese cuisine with a modern twist attracted the attention of Bomporto Hotels and we had to snap him up. Get ready for his bold take on national dishes, using contemporary techniques with a focus on the freshest local ingredients.
